Lebanon, the most recent Addition to Bush's Successful Middle East (dis)Order!

Iraq, Iran, Syria Palestine, Egypt? now Lebanon, what next? it's spreading! Middle East breakdown well on its way!

To explain the increase in sectarian retribution killings in Iraq Gen. George Casey, at a joint news conference with Defense Secretary Donald H. Rumsfeld, told reporters that al-Qaida is carrying out terrorist killings in the Baghdad area in an attempt to "demonstrate that they are still relevant" after the June 7 killing of their leader in Iraq, Abu Musab al-Zarqawi.
`What we are seeing now as a counter to that is death squads, primarily from Shiite extremist groups that are retaliating against civilians," Casey said. "
you have both sides now attacking civilians, and that is what has caused the recent spike in violence here in Baghdad. http://www.washingtonpost.com/...

This Iraqi breakdown is self perpetuating and will not stop. My concern is that Saudi Arabia who looks at itself as the protector of Sunni's will intervene and Iran will help the Shiites as seems to be happening
What should wake you up is that Iraq's PM Maliki said that a loss of the Iraq war would be a loss of the country of Iraq.
I hate to be the one to tell him but Iraq is already lost. It is in civil war and that cannot be stopped now. It is now in proccess. As I have said many times, it will and is spreading throughout the entire middle east. You can thank Bush and his new world order!

While pressing Iran to provide a response to the international package prior to the much anticipated summit in St Petersburg, the US government has preemptively rejected the middle-of-the-road option of putting Iran's enrichment program on standby while the talks continue. http://www.atimes.com/...

While continuing to insist on a halt to uranium enrichment that they know Iran will not do, Bush continue's to brag about multi lateral negotiations which for Bush is no negotiation at all but a continuation of my way or nothing policies while Iran continues to buy time.

*Now Israeli tanks and troops invaded southern Lebanon today amid a series of military disasters for the government in Jerusalem after Hizbullah captured two soldiers and killed several others - compounding a political crisis over an abducted soldier held in Gaza. The Israeli air force killed a family of nine, including seven children, in a large bomb attack on a Gaza City house.
Hizbullah's capture of the two soldiers is a huge political embarrassment to the Israeli prime minister, coming after the seizure of Cpl Shalit last month. Mr Olmert has been pursuing a drawn-out strategy to win the release of Cpl Shalit - who is held by Hamas's military wing and other groups - and to end Palestinian rocket attacks. He has initiated a series of assaults on the Gaza Strip, put Gaza's 1.4m residents under pressure with the destruction of the only power station and other infrastructure, and arrested members of the Hamas-controlled Palestinian government and MPs.

I continue to say, Israel will no more succeed at their recent endeavors than Bush will in his. Israel and Bush continue to just make things worse for themselves. Besides believing they are the chosen ones you have to wonder why they seem to seek destruction!
Last Wednesday, Israeli jets buzzed the home of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad in Ladekye, outside Damascus. Israeli television reported that the president was at home at the time.
Israeli Deputy Prime Minister Shimon Peres complained that Syria allowed the exiled Hamas political leader Khalid Meshaal -- operating out of Damascus -- to order the kidnapping of the Israeli corporal.

The flyover was seen as an attempt to bring pressure on al-Assad to rein in Meshaal.

Syrian state television called the Israeli flyover "an unacceptable, hostile and provocative act." Syria said its anti-aircraft batteries fired on the Israeli warplanes and chased them away.

This was Fridays contribution to the breakdown of Bush's new world order!
Anger flared across the Middle East over Israel's assault, and many Arabs criticized their governments for not aiding the Palestinians. The Egyptian government's top rival, the outlawed Muslim Brotherhood, urged Egyptians to gather at pro-Palestinian demonstrations Friday, the Muslim Sabbath. please read the link!

* We are getting deeper. The middle east breakdown that many of us saw as a result if Bush attacked Iraq is well on its way. This new world order of Bush's is a great success huh! It will soon get worse! Please give me your thoughts!
