Tighter Political control of media is a threat to Democracy! It's Selective & Controlled by Bushco?

Al Gore said that ever-tighter political and economic control of the media is a major threat to democracy. Gore said the goal behind his year-old television channel Current TV was to encourage the kind of democratic dialogue that thrives online but is increasingly rare on TV.

Gore told an audience yesterday at the Edinburgh International Television Festival that "Democracy as a system for self-governance is facing more serious challenges now than it has faced for a long time." Current TV was launched last year and anticipated the tide of user-generated content now sweeping the media world.
His long-standing warnings about the threat from
global warming have reached a mass audience thanks to "An Inconvenient Truth," a stark movie that has become one of the most successful documentaries in United States history. http://www.myeyewitnessnews.com/...

Knowing that Bush subverts everything that is counter to what he wants you to believe. Knowing that there was a 60 minutes documentary explaining the truth as to the dire condition of the planet and the fact that Bush has had government scientist's censored and will not let their reports on the environment go out until anything that tells the truth and goes counter to what he wants you to believe. Scientists doing climate research for the federal government say the Bush administration has made it hard for them to speak forthrightly to the public about global warming. The result, the researchers say, is a danger that Americans are not getting the full story on how the climate is changing. http://www.nhne.org/...

Knowing that Global warming may be a natural occurrence but is being sped up by mans abusive influence and we are preparing to make it worse instead of trying to help the situation. I for one have to come to the conclusion that the ever tightening political and financial control by the government that Mr. Gore is experiencing is because of his attempt to get out the truth about the environment and Bush wants to control and surpress it.

I do not think Fox News is being suppressed, quite the contrary. So knowing the underhanded dealings of Bushco you have to come to the conclusion that they are behind this to. I am sorry but I just do not trust anything that is said or done during this misadministration.
