As new polls showed Democrats taking advantage of a wave of hostile sentiment over the Iraq war and the Mark Foley sex scandal, some Republicans were clinging to the hope that news of the North Korean nuclear test might bring some supporters back to them.

As we listen to McCain trying to divert attention off Foley and failing Iraq by blaming Clinton for Bush's failed NK Mis Diplomacy that resulted in NK's nuclear detonation.

It is all politics of course, so what? If the truth is told, that is all that should matter. If it does not serve your interests then you better adjust accordingly and fly right!
I just want to point out that we seem to have once again let the Repubs divert attention from their corruptive ineptitude i.e.. the Foley Scandal. I haven't heard anything of the fact that Hastert appears to have skirted responsibility by being able to hide the fact of his prior knowledge even though A former chief of staff for Foley said last week that he first advised Hastert's office of the Florida congressman's troublesome behavior three years ago. Hastert's chief of staff has denied it.
As far as Bush and Hastert are concerned, that kills the issue of Hastert's prior knowledge , once again hiding behind a closed mouth cover up! http://www.washingtonpost.com/...
We can not allow this cover up and Hastert's inequities to be quieted. We cannot allow attention to be diverted from Foley onto North Korea. We can argue the fact that NK and nukes is a result of Bush's Bullying and not Clinton's lack of activity.
However, while I wonder how Bushco seems to have quieted the Woodward factor i must say we can not allow them to do this to Foleygate!
