Bush wants more of everything as Democrats threaten to kill the troops that are caught in a worsening situation!

A provocative statement indeed but with the insistent little Bush refusing to do the common sense thing and start a strategic withdrawal, instead opting to increase the amount of troops in the middle of Bush's created raging sectarian violence.
What the hell do they think the result of refusing funding for bush's failed before it starts, troop build up? First I want to say that this would be impossible to do since most troops needed for the build up will come from extending troops that are already there and deploying earlier those that are already scheduled to deploy.
The sectarian violence is worsening in Iraq and it will continue unabated regardless of a troop build up. Yesterday Iraqi and US forces clashed with gunmen in central Baghdad after coming under fire from mortar and rocket-propelled grenades on the first day of a joint operation to restore control in the restive city.

The Iraqi Defense Ministry said 50 militants were killed during an intense gunfight that lasted for hours and included US and Iraqi soldiers battling side by side with the back-up of American fighter jets and helicopters.

Big deal! There is plenty more where they came from and Bush will ensure it!
First on a personal note I just want to say I am sorry for my son , the EOD community, and the family and friends of the 3 EOD personnel who were killed in Iraq Sunday!
The three airmen from Hill Air Force Base were killed after a car bomb exploded.
They were Tech Sgt. Timothy R. Weiner, 35, of Tamarac, Fla., Senior Airman Elizabeth A. Loncki, 23, of New Castle, Del., and Senior Airman Daniel B. Miller Jr., 24, of Galesburg, Ill., died in the blast Sunday near Baghdad.
All three were members of the 775th Civil Engineer Squadron's Explosive Ordnance Disposal Flight.

My hat is off to all of them especially those that made the ultimate sacrifice. It is this IED road side bomb threat that is my biggest concern for my own son that I want to see get home and enjoy his growing family.
Again having said that, I was privileged to have a conversation with my son this morning and he expressed the thought that He thinks he may get out after this hitch is up but I don't know if these ex lifers will just be allowed to go on their way. this migration away from the military will grow as Bush continues to create his problems around the world.
We just attacked a supposed Terrorist outpost in Somalia effectively opening the 3rd front in Somalia I have been warning about. Also I firmly believe Bush still has plans to further his middle east debacle and will do so by attacking Iran before his term is up. Don't forget Bush has an Admiral with fleet Command experience replacing Abizaid! That is important to note as if Bush is able to find his excuse to attack Iran to further his desired new middle east order he will have to do so from the sea.
Anyway congress and Kennedy have proposed putting a constraint on the additional funding that will be requested, prohibiting it from being spent on a troop build up. As far as I am concerned that would be a death sentence to the troops that Bush insists on keeping in the middle of this sectarian violence that will engulf the entire middle east. Nothing will stop what the chief idiot started, nothing, and he better remember he bragged about his so called accomplishment, and be held accountable.
Remember this mess is still just starting, we better make a great effort to Impeach his ass now!
