National Intelligence Estimate proves Bush is lying about Iran, Bush says NIE supports him, Israel still says Iran's developing NW, Bush behind NIE?

I first want to say that Venezuela has voted against one man rule but we are powerless to stop Bush's one man rule! As hard as it is to listen to this idiot I listened to his 45 minutes of BS today. I was stupefied to hear in his speech not a mention of the NIE's finding on Iran but just BS ranting trying to get his way with the Democratic Congress the baby. I am sick of his crap! Not until the question and answer session was Iran, the NIE, and the fact that there is no nuclear weapons program and hasn't been since 2003. That should change everything but this is the idiot decider and it will change nothing.

** He accused reporters of using psych 101 on him and said it is not working and he is right. The Bellicose beehive will not stop. Instead the idiot says the NIE supports him which I don't understand but makes you wonder about this story that Bush was behind the NIE Report

He was wrong on Iraq and has now been proven wrong on Iran but he does not care and this war will be instigated by either him or the IRG. He has changed the standard from no nukes to no knowledge. He will not relent. Instead the jerk takes credit for making Iran stop their weapons program and says we must keep up the pressure because if they had a program they could have another and by 2012. I am sick of the hypothetical's from an idiot who says he will not answer hypothetical's. This guy is an idiot! He says Iran was dangerous, is dangerous, and will be dangerous bush will not stop and will only make things worse until the excuse to fight is found. Please look at the text of Bush's news program

** Bush's other war partner in the middle east is also still instigating for war with Iran. Israeli intelligence believes Iran is still trying to develop a nuclear weapon, Israel's defense minister said Tuesday, disputing a U.S. intelligence assessment that Iran has halted its program. "It's apparently true that in 2003 Iran stopped pursuing its military nuclear program for a time. But in our opinion, since then it has apparently continued that program," Defense Minister Ehud Barak told Army Radio. In a new assessment made public on Monday, the U.S. National Intelligence Estimate on Iran, a synthesis of information from American spy agencies, concluded that Iran has suspended its attempt to build a nuclear weapon. The unclassified summary marked a surprising reversal of the previous U.S. view that Iran is aggressively pursuing a nuclear weapons program.

Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert stopped short of disputing the U.S. assessment on Tuesday, playing down the new gap between the Israeli and American views. "According to this report, and to the American position, it is vital to continue efforts to prevent Iran from attaining (nuclear) capability," Olmert told reporters before meeting with Italy's deputy prime minister. He said, "We cannot allow ourselves to rest just because of an intelligence report from the other side of the earth, even if it is from our greatest friend." Israel insists Iran is after nuclear weapons
** Anyway bush will not relent, Israel will not relent and neither will Iran as one of them will find a reason to instigate this war. Earlier Tuesday, Iran ripped the Bush administration for rhetoric that came before Monday's release of the estimate. "U.S. officials have so far inflicted ... damage on the Iranian nation by spreading lies against the country and by disturbing public opinion, therefore, they have to pay the price for their action," Iranian government spokesman Gholam-Hossein Elham is quoted as saying on the Web site of the official Islamic Republic News Agency.
** In another posting, IRNA called the updated estimate "a necessary and positive step in Tehran-Washington relations, but undoubtedly is not sufficient." "The U.S. administration should know that only admitting a mistake is not enough," the IRNA report said. Israeli Defense Minister Ehud Barak echoed Bush's comments Tuesday. "Iran is a main threat to the world and Israel," Barak said. "The entire world and the state of Israel should prepare to deal with this threat and thwart it." Iran says US must pay for lies

I don't think I have to tell you, hearing the truth about Iran not seeking nuclear weapons will change nothing as Israel and the US continue to instigate for war war with Iran and the IRG will and other Iranian interests will continue to do theirs. Bush's warning of a threat of World War Three if Iran gets nukes will become a reality anyway you look at it and Bush and Israel will see to it. the war mongers will not be happy until they attack Iran and Russia, china, and the 135 non aligned Nations join the fray against us

Signs of things to come Jim:

Guardian

The risks of food riots and malnutrition will surge in the next two years as the global supply of grain comes under more pressure than at any time in 50 years, according to one of the world's leading agricultural researchers.
Recent pasta protests in Italy, tortilla rallies in Mexico and onion demonstrations in India are just the start of the social instability to come unless there is a fundamental shift to boost production of staple foods, Joachim von Braun, the head of the International Food Policy Research Institute, warned in an interview with the Guardian.

The growing appetite of China and other fast-developing nations has combined with the expansion of biofuel programmes in the United States and Europe to transform the global food situation.

After decades of expanding crop yields and falling food prices, the past year has seen a sharp rise in the cost of wheat, rice, corn, soya and dairy products.

"Demand is running away. The world has been consuming more than it produces for five years now. Stocks of grain - of rice, wheat and maize - are down at levels not seen since the early 80s," said von Braun, whose organisation is the world's largest alliance of agricultural researchers, economists, and policy experts.

So far, crises have been averted because states have eaten into national stocks, but this could be set to change because China, in particular, has run down its supplies.

"Over the next 12 to 24 months we are in a fairly risky situation. Large consuming nations, particularly China, will feel pressed to enter international markets to bid up prices to unusual levels," von Braun warned ahead of a speech today to the institute's AGM in Beijing.

Thanks to its manufacturing prowess China has huge foreign exchange reserves and could buy the global food crop several times over. But its consumers are already feeling the cost of food inflation. According to the local media three shoppers died last month in a stampede at a supermarket in Chongqing that was offering cheap rapeseed oil. The threat of instability has prompted prime minister Wen Jiabao to make the fight against food price rises one of his government's priorities. So far it seems a losing battle.

Economic growth - estimated at 11.5% in the first nine months of the year - has made Chinese consumers wealthier, while urbanisation and globalisation has changed their diet. In October the government announced pork prices were up more than 50%, vegetables 30% and cooking oil 34% compared with the year before.

The knock-on is felt across the world. In Britain and other rich nations it means a few more pence for breakfast cereal in the short term and a slightly higher cost for toys, clothes and other China-made goods. But for the world's poorest communities the rises will have a potentially devastating effect.

Bangladesh has had to ask for half a million tonnes of food aid - a severe blow to the pride of a country that had been trying to wean itself off international assistance. Bangladeshi officials say the price of cooking oil - of which it imports 1.2m tonnes a year - has almost tripled in the past two years because it is now valued as an alternative to diesel oil. More worryingly, their main staple of rice is hard to buy at any price because India, Vietnam and Ukraine have cut exports.

Added to this are the pressures caused by global warming, which have been blamed for the droughts that damaged crops in Australia this year.

The social tensions caused by rising food prices are already evident, says von Braun. "The first sign was the tortilla riot in Mexico city, where 70,000 took to the streets. I think that was only the beginning - there will be more," said von Braun. "For a year or two countries can stabilise with stocks. But the risk comes in the next 12 to 24 months. The countries that cannot afford to buy will be the losers, while those with huge foreign exchange reserves will bid up the world market."

Von Braun called on Europe to reconsider its biofuel policies, to provide more aid to poor nations, to keep markets open and to boost production.

The forces pushing up food prices

1 Rising consumption: The appetite of fast-growing nations, such as China, is rising as economic booms cause a surge in demand for meat and dairy products

2 Competition from biofuels: The cars of the rich are now rivalling the bellies of the poor for corn, cane and edible oils

3 Climate change: Global warming is putting pressure on water needed to irrigate crops

There is more dangers than war:

Climate scientists tend to think in decades; national security experts in days or years at best. This difference helps explain why climate change is rarely considered a national security challenge. Yet the links are inescapable. One that is even less frequently discussed is the connection of global change to the threat of terrorism.

We are not talking about terrorists targeting the United States for its contributions to climate change or its failure to come up with a global solution. Nor are we referring to the fact that the Middle East stands to become even more volatile in the years ahead due to water shortages. Climate change will exacerbate global terrorism by increasing both migration and the likelihood of state failures - two factors that have been known to have a major impact on the threat of radicalization.

Simply put, hotter temperatures mean that more water will evaporate into the air, increasing droughts, while at the same time potentially causing floods when it descends back to earth in the form of severe rain storms, only to evaporate again. This increasingly violent hydrological cycle will force people to move from afflicted areas.

While climate-induced migration could lead to instability in any corner of the globe, the impact will be most pronounced in the developing world. As Northern Africa, South Asia, and possibly the Middle East become increasingly unpleasant or unbearable environments, some of these refugees will flee northward along existing migration routes to Europe.

Europe's longstanding challenge to integrate Muslim immigrants and the resulting impact it has on radicalization could easily worsen. Home to over 20 million Muslims, Europe has struggled in recent years to find ways to incorporate growing groups of foreign nationals into society at large.

Today in Opinion
A snapshot of injusticeA tale of two strongmenEvolution and Texas
Despite a number of innovative integration initiatives, many immigrants in Europe continue to live in parallel societies that breed alienation, sometimes making them more susceptible to radical Islamist ideology. In a small but troubling number of cases, radicalized individuals have turned to violence to express a long list of grievances, ranging from the U.S.-led war on terror to personal experiences of discrimination.

As the number of climate-induced migrants increases, tensions between a shrinking yet fiercely protective European public and a rising immigrant community could soar, triggering violence and a surge in radicalization.

Climate change also could contribute to terrorism by increasing the number of weak and failing states, which in turn often come to serve as a base for global terrorism. The increasing severity and frequency of storms, diseases, and resource shortages can challenge the ability of any government to provide for its people.

In areas that experience significant additional rainfall, water-borne and vector-borne diseases, such as malaria and dengue fever, will be more prevalent. In those areas that will become more arid due to drought, air-borne diseases will thrive.

Climate change will likely create large fluctuations in the amount of rainfall in East Africa, for example, during the next 30 years - a decrease in rainfall in the summer will cause severe droughts while an increase during the winter will lead to flooding.

The Horn of Africa particularly continues to be plagued by a failed Somalia and other weak states. Al Qaeda cells are active in the region, and there is a danger that it could become a central breeding ground and safe haven for jihadists as climate change pushes more states toward the brink of collapse.

The risk is also high in South Asia, particularly Bangladesh, which was devastated in mid-November by Tropical Cyclone Sidr, the deadliest storm to hit the country in a decade. Hundreds of Taliban and jihadists have already found safe haven in this region in the wake of the U.S. invasion of Afghanistan. The combination of deteriorating socioeconomic conditions, radical Islamic political groups, and environmental insecurity brought on by climate change could prove volatile.

As negotiators and leaders convene in Bali, this does not mean that solving climate change will solve the challenge of radical Islamist terrorism. What it does mean is that we can no longer afford to think of climate change either as a unidimensional challenge, reserved for climatologists, or as a problem in the distant future. Well before glaciers melt or sea levels rise, global climate change will spur instability on a global scale, which will exacerbate many of the traditional national security challenges with which we are grappling today, including terrorism.

Check this out Jim:

The world is being steered into an apocalyptic climax that defies reason, by largely unknown powers, for unknowable reasons. All of us are among the unfortunate losers in the ultimate earth lottery, with ringside seats to the end of the world, from which there is no escape. There is a secretive cabal of criminal minds, who are doing everything in their (practically limitless) power to violently forge a utopian world order upon the earth. In this unfolding power play they intend to pre-enact Judgment Day, to convince the people that time is up, making them easier to manipulate, using their own religious beliefs against them. What the Bible gave us as a prophetic warning, these guys are treating as if it was their script for the worst horror movie of all time.

Here we have a lot of very rich and powerful people producing and directing a worldwide Hollywood version of the end of the world, with extreme real world consequences. Cecil B. Demented does "Armageddon" on the streets of America. For the most part, we have passively watched as "shock and awe" rained down from the sky, onto the innocent masses of poor dark-skinned people half a world away. But for those countries who were spared the first act, because they were far away from the war's front lines, there will be a terrible second act, which will prove to be just as deadly as the first. When the world cracks open the war will become up close and very personal for everyone.

The name of the new game, from here on out, will be population reduction, selective population reduction. In the end, the human race, at least the surviving remnant, will be much paler than it is today. The same think tanks and globalist foundations who wrote the script for the end of the world are the same ones who produced the threatening "Global 2000 Report," the blueprint for population reduction that our elite masters conjured-up for the Carter Administration. If you want to know what they intend for us in their Judgment Day script then keep in mind that the Book of Revelations has been their inspiration. Wars, famine and pestilence seem to be the motif for the first two acts. They will help to induce shock in the captive audience, for the third and final act of the globalist tragedy. Traumatized populations that have been devastated by atrocities are easier to manipulate, as government practiced psy-ops programs have confirmed.

The goal of the plotters is basically to appear to cause the "end of the (old) world," so that they can brutally seize for themselves all the promised blessings intended for God's Chosen people, making the sheeple believe that time is up. These powerful men, seeking to enthrone themselves in seats reserved for God's elect, are playing upon superstitious beliefs, to carry-out their twisted plans for world domination. Atheists, using prophecy to mislead the religious, are seeking prophetic rewards for their own cunning. By causing religious people to believe that this might be the "end of days," they have dissuaded them from rising in opposition to them, as this might also be seen as interfering with God's work. This deception is as effective for parts of the Muslim faith as it is for some of the Christians. Convincing superstitious people that this man-made end of days might be God's will is using scripture to bring them into line with the script. Whenever a "wicked and foolish generation seeketh after a sign," it will find the omens everywhere.

The criminal producers of our horror movie/psy-war operation intend to establish a new world order, based on the ashes of the old. Their utopian world will be a world without conscience or morality, as it will be built upon the deaths of billions, who will have been harvested in the final act of this terrible horror script. Their perfected world (based on death) of unlimited profit to a very limited elite, will come into being when Bush gives the order for the attack upon Iran. In a world of reason, he would never give such an order, but we all know that the order is about to be given. In this new world order, where men see themselves as gods, and other humans are simply assets, there is no moral compunction to end the ordering of thousands more to their deaths.

America is prepared to destroy its own economy, the global economy, the international order, and violate the very foundation of law, on the pretext of eliminating a threat to our ally Israel – a threat that does not exist. To calm Israel's fear of its future, we are all set to eliminate the nation of Iran, and with it, our own futures. Before his time runs out, Bush will order the bombers and the missiles into Iranian airspace, to destroy the imaginary nuclear weapons that pose no threat to Israel, in spite of the fact that his help might also destroy them. By any measurement, this is insanity. This is the final step on the road to the New World Order, Judgment Day.

The world has been transformed by Bush's war strategy into a very unstable swirling cauldron of pent-up fear and hatred. The decision that he has made to escalate the wars (when his version of diplomacy visibly fails), seeking vindication through the total destruction of all opposition, is a suicidal decision. Those who push our government to take this fatal step will, at minimum, push us into the waiting police state and the accompanying economic depression. Those in Israel who are pushing America to wage war against Iran are trying to bring about actions that will cause massive death in Israel and possibly its collapse as a free state. These Americans and Israelis are doing their best to bind the US government to actions that will endanger our existence. Why? Is it possible that our leaders believe that is more important to sow disorder than to seek lasting peace?

The American neocons have used the New Right to bind America to Israel's extremist Likud policies. These three elements have been the loudest voices on both sides of the Atlantic, trying to force the violent resolution of the mutual hatred between Israelis and Iranians. These are the same strident voices that are brashly denouncing the upcoming peace talks at Annapolis, claiming that they will lead to war. http://www.jpost.com/servlet/Satellite?apage=1&cid=1195546703899&pagename=JPost%2FJPArticle%2FShowFull

The most notable of the neocons (many of whom have dual American/Israeli citizenship) are ardent supporters of Ariel Sharon and his Likudists. They proudly carried-on the traditional Zionist positions that Sharon championed, by opposing all negotiations with the Arabs and following policies which aggressively encouraged the Palestinians to leave Palestine. These policies, which amounted to an official program of state harassment, were meant to inflict low levels of terror on the Palestinian people, designed for the purpose of de-populating Palestine. The infamous "Koenig Memorandum" (an Israeli government document) details these harassment policies. http://www.themaz.net/ss/back_koenig.html From the organized brutality directed at the Palestinian people since then, there can be little doubt, that the policies described in the Koenig Report did in fact become official Israeli policy for dealing with the "Intifada." Many of the official policies of harassment mentioned in the report became the actual policies used to disenfranchise the Palestinians from the land taken from them.

In the Zionist interpretation of events, it is the peace process that makes peace impossible. Movement leaders have always understood (yet kept carefully hidden) the eventual necessity of driving all the Arabs out of the land of Greater Israel. It has always been a key part of the Zionist plan to empty the land of its rightful inhabitants, in the most subtle manner possible:

"spirit the penniless population across the frontier by denying it employment...Both the process of expropriation and the removal of the poor must be carried away discreetly and circumspectly." Theodore Herzl, founder of the World Zionist Organization Complete Diaries, June 12, 1895 entry.

In this view, those who even suggest to the Arabs that peace through negotiations is possible are considered to be traitors, for undermining the only possible path to peace, which is to terrorize the Palestinians until they either submit to Israel's terms, or become refugees. This is the Israeli "Iron Wall" strategy, formulated by Zionist folk hero Wolf Jabotinsky – There are to be no negotiations, but instead, the liberal application of enough force to make life unbearable. The Palestinians must be made to fear the consequences of not giving in to Israeli demands more than they hate giving up their homeland.

"A voluntary reconciliation with the Arabs is out of the question either now or in the future. If you wish to colonize a land in which people are already living, you must provide a garrison for the land, or find some rich man or benefactor who will provide a garrison on your behalf. Or else-or else, give up your colonization, for without an armed force which will render physically impossible any attempt to destroy or prevent this colonization, colonization is impossible, not difficult, not dangerous, but IMPOSSIBLE!... Zionism is a colonization adventure and therefore it stands or falls by the question of armed force. It is important... to speak Hebrew, but, unfortunately, it is even more important to be able to shoot - or else I am through with playing at colonizing." Vladimir Jabotinsky, founder of Revisionist Zionism (precursor of Likud), The Iron Wall, 1923. http://www.cactus48.com/verses.html

Because the Israeli leaders have been true to the tenets of Zionism, the "Peace Process" has never had a chance to succeed. If negotiations begin to show promise the Zionists will do everything that they can to derail any conceivable peace agreement. This is how it has always been. This is the same with America's radical right wing, which has always staked its fortunes on destroying arms control treaties.

Entering into peace talks which you intend to make fail is hypocrisy, even though pretending to negotiate in good faith does bring immediate rewards, if the negotiator is careful not to give anything away in the process. The political parties in the Israeli government play separate parts in the ongoing psycho-drama called "The Peace Talks," with the left taking charge of the negotiations at Annapolis, playing the role of reasonable Israelis, while the right-wing Likud party elements prepare to defend Israel by demolishing whatever the talks produce and finishing the ethnic cleansing of Palestine. This two-faced image of Israel feigns negotiations in order to placate their American benefactors, who arm them to kill Palestinians. No matter what agreements Sec. Rice squeezes out of the warring parties, the talks will be the spark that fuels the conflagration. When they fail, Bush will have been absolved of guilt for having tried every "reasonable" option to avoid war with Iran, just as he was for having tried the UN before bombing Iraq.

If the US and Israel were serious about pursuing peace in the Middle East then they would pursue policies that sought to bring extremists into the system as a means of civilizing their actions, instead of seeking to bomb them out of existence. They must learn that peace cannot be won by "pacifying" the world. All the bombs in the world will not destroy the will to resist, they will only strengthen it. The way must be made clear for the orderly transition of extremist Muslim militias into political parties, in the same way that the militant Zionist militias transitioned from their era of gangsterism to become Israel's political parties. Hamas and Hezbollah are legitimate political forces that provide a great deal of aid to their embattled populaces. We asked the Arabs to try democracy and these are their choices. It is time that we get over it, and find a new way to look at the Middle East. If hatred of America and Israel is the cause of the war on terror, then ending that war means breaking with the policies that caused that hatred, not multiplying the causes themselves.

In order to break free from the chains that bind us to permanent war in the Middle East, we have to separate religion from government, to put an end to America's efforts to fulfill Biblical prophecy. It is this tendency of American leaders to see themselves as messianic figures that causes them to think that they can usher in a religious utopia by re-creating events from ancient prophecies. We have been speculating about the real reasons behind America's rapid moral decay into fascism, when the answer has been laying right there in front of us all along. The insanity of the "Christian Right" is the insanity that has overwhelmed this nation. Their absolute dedication to Israel has opened the door to the power play by the "devourers of worlds."

We go to elaborate lengths to identify the brainwashers of the American majority in the government or to name the great conspiracy. Perhaps we misjudge the political power wielded by a radical religious movement in our lazy society, where barely fifty percent ever bother to vote. The reason for the enormous power of the New Right is that they have merely walked into the gap left by the American majority, which has abdicated its rights to lead its own government. These guys promised their followers that they were going to intervene in America's history, to inject Christian principles into American government, when they rose-up to elect Reagan. They have been pretty effective at rousing a partisan American majority to empower the Republicans to do what they have done so successfully to us today. The one thing that they consistently do, is promote the interests of Israel. According to CNN correspondent Christiane Amanpour,

"A recent poll found that 59 percent of American evangelicals believe Israel is the fulfillment of biblical prophecy...The Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs estimates 85 million evangelicals believes God tells them to support Israel — more than six times the world's Jewish population." http://whtt.org/index.php?news=2&id=1697

American Christians overwhelmingly believe that to support the state of Israel is to support God's work. On this belief, the new neoconservative foreign policy of mass-murder has been grafted. Israeli political Zionists and politicized Christian Zionists both support killing as many Palestinians as is necessary to convert Palestine into Israel. This religious deception that masquerades as "Christianity" likes to lay claim to the birthright of Jesus Christ, even though its most prominent spokesmen like John Hagee go so far as to deny that Jesus is the Jewish Messiah. http://youtube.com/watch?v=m8khCJTDD44" target="_blank">a href="http://youtube.com/watch?v=m8khCJTDD44" target="_blank">http://youtube.com/watch?v=m8khCJTDD44 Congressmen, like Richard Armey, have openly stated that "my number one priority in foreign policy is to protect Israel," when it should obviously be to protect America first. http://www.haaretz.com/hasen/objects/pages/PrintArticleEn.jhtml?itemNo=910199 People like these are so dedicated to carrying-out the political will of Israel in the United States, that they should register as agents of a foreign government.

With so much overwhelming political and economic power being brought to bear behind such an all-consuming nihilistic vision what can rational American patriots do to stop them? Which of the three identified groups of "armegeddonists" is susceptible to reason? The neocons cannot be persuaded to change their treasonous ways because they are in the plot too deep. We know that the Christian Zionists are impervious to reason, because they believe the Jesus promised to send magic clouds (or spaceships in the clouds) to save them. That leaves us with the Israeli government, to focus all our efforts upon. We have to persuade them that Israel will not benefit from any world war waged for them by America.

We must escalate our efforts to confront Israel, no matter how often we are slammed as "anti-Semites." After all, the Zionists we confront have always followed Theodor Herzl's admonition that "anti-Semitism...is a deeply imbedded force in the subconscious mind of the [Gentile] masses." http://www.jewsagainstzionism.com/zionism/zanda.cfm

Larry your mood is right on here! I did this post a month ago, Anok was there but you missed it. Again it is a lot worse than the dire situation you are painting.
Any here it is! Pick a crisis the world is overwhelmed

As usual you are right on. This will not be stopped either! Everything today is a facade as you can find in every single month of my Blogging.
Our Democracy, christianity, peace, justice, everything, in order to further Israel's pursuit to change the middle east, create, a new order, and ultimately as you point out, the end of days is the ultimate goal and we are powerless to stop it.
You know in my manifesto to the world how this will all end. What stinks is whoever is driving this scenario will in the end survive this mess to start over and do what? Start this destructive process all over again on whoever survives that is counter to their warped desires. Thanks Larry take care and stay in touch!

Jim, I would like to point out that Hugo lost by a very small margin, which is an important fact.

Also, I don't trust the Israeli's as far as I can toss them..which isn't far with three blown discs.
