Top three Al Qaeda in Iraq killed but it will not improve the lives of Iraqi's: Their words!

Third Iraqi al-Qaeda leader killed: Iraqi military - BBC

Iraqis say Qaeda deaths will not improve their lives

A 2007 U.S. Report gave Blame to Iraqi's for Bush's Guaranteed Failures!

While we continuously listened to the lies and propaganda that Bush has had many successes in Iraq and that his surge succeeded We already know but many of Bush's declared successes are in fact failures. Low and behold it all boils down to Security fears. What a surprise! What happened to his successful surge? Kill all the Al Qaeda you want they can not still provide the basic needs of life in a successful society.

Isn't that Bush's fault? If he had stayed in Afghanistan as he should have instead of diverting from the war on terror to attack Iraq so he could start implementing his new middle east order, Iraq may still have a Dictator but they would have security, electricity, water, fuel, and a lot more than they have now or will have in the future.

Al Maliki, Malawi, or whoever takes control they cannot and will not bring stability back to Iraq. Despite the political rhetoric it will get a lot worse and then spread throughout the entire middle east. We will never be able to bring services anywhere close to the level they were at when Saddam was in power. It is laughable to think that anyone thought they would be better post Saddam.

The Congressional investigation into reconstruction in Iraq found that six out of eight projects the Bush administration claimed to be a success were falling apart, throwing doubts over the long-term viability of much of the $30 billion program. I have to tell you, the entire program, the surge, Democracy, everything, was guaranteed lost from the get go. What ever is built will be destroyed.

The report which was published 3 years ago but could be today looked at hospital projects that at last count there was only one capable of operating at all. It does not matter how much money or effort we put into Iraq. Iraqi's as a whole do not want new Iraqi order they want their own version. They want the basic needs of life satisfied and they do not care who supplies them in the end.

Each sect is only concerned with looking out for their own interest and future and as we are told to ignore everyday because it is not "the reality on the ground" reality is much worse! The inspectors found serious plumbing and electrical failures due to looting, equipment lying idle to me primarily because people are scared to death to venture out into the reality Bush has created for them. US report blaming Iraqi's for failures

From the Political system to the oil Industry, Hospitals, electricity, plumbing, security, everything, It will not be turned around and will only get a lot worse before it spreads throughout the entire middle east. Supposedly we are hoping to start withdrawing our troops this year and have them all out by next fall. Regardless of what happens we better stick to that schedule, leave whatever supplies the Iraqi's need, and see just how much they want to live together under a system that will supply their needs. It is in the end up to them!

I don't think these people love what America tells them to think.

It doesn't get any dumber!!!

Anyways, good they've taken another Taliban leader out.
Personally I wouldn't put too much into what someone says, but rather what his motivation is.

Of course you will always find people complaining and naturally also a lot of wrong done, but I do think there are also a lot of good news.

I agree Tom! We have created a mess for them that will only worsen and spread throughout the Middle East.

Thanks for the link Sarah I will check that out. There has been a lot of good news on all fronts. The same news is good and bad depending on who tells it.

Here's the problem as I see it. Having read several Iraqi blogs over the last 8 years (hard to believe it's been that long). You had most of the country's talent leave for security reasons. What was left were those too poor to afford to leave and those wanting to take control mostly corrupt leftovers from Saddam. We just saw yet another installation of a secular leader who must now form some sort of collition government with the religious factions. I say good luck with that.

I guess news is good or bad, depending on your personal agenda.

Like the news that another leader of some organization is killed.

There is endless stream of people that can be identified as leader such and such. they could announce that they've killed the number one guy, each and every day, and nothing would change.

As our military brass and government politicians have to be water boarded to get them to tell the truth, the story should be considered nothing but a lie to cover another lie.

Good news would be nice, but every silver lining seems to have it's cloud. Remember when the good news was that we gave Haliburton $50 million to build a modern water park in Baghdad? What happened to that? Where's the park? Where's the money? Why doesn't Sean Hannity brag about it anymore?

Or the feel good pictures of American troops surrounded by happy children? Now we know that our troops do this, to use the children as human shields. They hope that insurgents won't attack them while they are surrounded by children.

It used to be that we complained that the insurgents did this. That only the most despicable human beings use children as human shields. All the while that our media pundits were railing against the enemy using this tactic as some sort of subhuman demons, our military was training our own troops to engage in such evils.

But we taught the insurgents, didn't we? It didn't work, we shot the children and them. Causalities of war and all of that.

We've had nine years to accumulate good news. There hasn't really been any, but we want to cling to the hope that there should be. But why should there be? We went to Afghanistan and Iraq to slaughter people to generate profits for corporations, that have been specifically designed to make money providing services for the institutionalized butchery of human beings. Why should there be any good news in this?

Do you think perhaps Germans in Dachau complained, "Why don't you ever tell us the about the good things happening in the camp? All we hear about is the bad stuff!"

We're in both countries to slaughter human beings so that rich men can make more money. There is no need for good news in that effort, except to say that profits for wealthy men is on the increasing with every death.

People's lives are so wrecked, it would take decades to get back to a semblance of normality.

One can only sympathise with those who really are trying to move on with their lives but can not.

Demeur Shiite are increasingly getting slaughtered and recently in retaliation for the deaths of the 3 Al Qaeda leaders. Sadr has ordered his army to protect his people at prayer. This civil war will blow but when?

jmsjoin said...

Wearse there are a lot of clouds and when it rains it pours. I just wish we would get the hello out of there before this civil war really breaks.

One of my sons just went back to Iraq after being here for his break. He leaves Iraq in July and goes directly to Afghanistan for 6 months. Nice huh? They break those 18 month deployments up into 2 wars now so they can say they are not in country for 18 months!

Hi Anna! Believe it or not it will get a lot worse before it engulfs the entire middle east and worse. Bush knew it but attacked anyway to get back into the middle east.
