Obama says Republicans would 'cripple' America: They already crippled us and it will get worse

Obama says Republicans would 'cripple' America: Faced with a recalcitrant Congress and Republicans who accuse him of waging class warfare over his call to raise taxes on millionaires and billionaires, Obama told supporters Sunday to brace for a "tough" reelection campaign."This is going to be especially hard because a lot of people are discouraged and a lot of people are disillusioned," Obama said at a fundraising event in Seattle, Washington."I'm determined because there's too much at stake.

You better believe it! Be very afraid, it is going to happen whether they take back control or not. They will be more ruthless if they lose. They will settle for nothing less than total collapse then Blame it on Obama so they can get back in and finish us and Bush's agenda off!

Republican's were hoping the fanatic Governor Perry was their man but as they observe how "mad" unstable and inadequate he is they are turning their attention to Governor Christie who does have a shot at the Presidency but his weight and ill health will be the issue. I believe he will pick up the gauntlet in the end but he will be defeated. In the end Obama's second term is going to be hell and Republican's will be a hell of a lot worse than they are now believe it or not. God help us because Republican's won't.

As I explained, I saw a post on the fact that the Republicans have the goal of destroying the the middle class, elderly, and ailing. Some that hear that I am sure would say that was a bit hard because they are trying to save the country. They are not trying to save the country, they are trying to get Bush's version back on track. They will say and do anything to achieve that.

I remember when then President Bush wanted to revamp Social Security but due to outrage he could not. I remember when Mitt Romney was stumping for McCain when he was running for President against Obama and I was horrified when he told the audience the Democratic party was the countries biggest enemy because we tried to take care of the poor, sick, and elderly.

Romney said Social Security had to be ended. Social Security is making money still, it is not our problem. The Republican party wanting to put an end to our version of America is our problem. The fact that the gap between the wealthy and and those barely making it continues to widen. That is the goal my friends and has been since Bush.

There is no surprise here. Only by me that after all these years people still do not get what is going on. It will be horrible if the Republicans can lie and play enough fools to get back in control to finish us and Bush's agenda off and get their new version of America back on track. I first put this together in 2003 figuring people would see the obvious, get the word out, and act on it. The situation is getting grave people if you have not noticed.

A little reciting and hopefully enlightenment: Bush was following what I know as the Russian Doctrine of Destruction used in the 19th century to tear down the old Government and order and replace it with a new version. Please read this! It is very important and you now know right on: Bush's Forever War! Experts think they found a way around this mess. I'm sick of saying it, Bush/Reagan pundits won't be stopped and failure to us is total success for them! Before you go on remember Bush destroyed America and world order completely and flew away proud of what he did. Okay please continue and remember this was under Bush.

I was listening to Pelosi talking about being confused why Bush didn't see the effect he was having on the middle class when he was President. Now the Republicans are further destroying their lives and upset when they hit a roadblock.

Of course he did! He had been purposely changing our societal order from day one.Republicans want to continue that elitist society as you must notice in their actions. Have you read Bush uncovered on my main page? Bush did not fail in the war on terror. Bush did not fail with our society. To him it was a qualified success. He was following Reagans mess. It has to be kept alive for his new world order Forever Wars so it was a complete success to him. Now it is Obama's.

If you read Bush Uncovered which I wrote 7 years ago (that's 2003 folks) but no one gets it, Bush was following the Russian Doctrine of Destruction and must create war and disorder to replace it with his new idea of order and to destroy the middle class here.I have been trying to wake people up since day one but no one is listening or getting it. I am afraid it is too late as much beyond our control has been set into play around the world and in the United States. Despite the advent of Obama nothing seems to have changed for whatever reason.

No one seems to get it but all the waking up and organizing against Bush in the world was worthless because he was given too much power as a result of 9/11 and the Patriot Act and now the power is in Obama's hands. The entire world will be engulfed in Bush's Forever War as planned from day one. What a frigging mess.

The flint has been struck and the fire in America has been lit. You may think that it is too late but you'd be wrong. Unlike any other revolution this one was sparked when the majority has had enough. They have nothing left to lose. They've lost their jobs and their homes and their health care. This is no temporary outrage either. No Act or law or rule will stop it. Those at the top made one glaring mistake this time around. They made those that protect them the villains. We saw that in Wisconsin with the police and fire departments. And the latest bashing of the military was an addition to their downfall.
And this is not a case of rounding up a few leaders or core people and throwing them in jail. This movement is horizontal and will not be stopped. This is also the reason that we will never win the wars in the Middle East. Unless those at the top are willing to take out the entire middle and bottom of this nation then they will lose. Eventually what the 1% has to sell will have no buyers even amongst themselves.

Ironically this movement is made up of both the right and left who have realized that neither party is serving their interests. It is made up of young and old who realize that things must truly change for this nation to move forward. And we're seeing this movement spread world wide.

You're right Demeur! I still find it hard to believe that all this is happening here and around the world. It is all our fault and it is going to get horrifically worse. We and the world will come out of this but in what shape that concerns me and you I am sure.

One of my sons is at marine mountain warfare training right now but amongst EOD and everything else he has had training in dealing with inner cities supposedly for other countries.

Anyway he sees what is happening and he says one thing, they forget one thing, who has the weapons and our ties to the civilian populace. Oh man I can't believe this shit!

Jim, I too despair at where our country is going, especially in view of the heartlessness of the Republicans who are in positions of leadership or are candidates for public office. But I disagree with your conclusion that "the Republicans have the goal of destroying the the middle class, elderly, and ailing". To say that is their goal probably cuts off any discourse on political solutions with a sizeable portion of the voting public. I agree that the result of their policies will destroy the middle class, the elderly and the ailing, but their core beliefs are that we are a nation where many people do not take personal responsibility for themselves and expect government to take care of them and they feel that taxes are misspent and wasted. The problem I see from the Republicans is that right-wing extremists who relish the stomping on gays, racial minorities, immigrants, women's rights, the poor, non-Christians, etc. have ascended in influence so that no GOP candidate take any risk in standing up to these forces, lest they become unelectable. Even the most modestly moderate Republicans are defeated as RINO's or traitors to conservative values in this intolerant climate of angry conservatism. The plutocratic class have spend endless money to fan such extremism for their own ends which is to dominate politically and enrich themselves beyond imagination. My husband is a Catholic, a small businessman and, although registered to vote as an independent, is decidedly a Republican with Libertarian leanings. We fundamentally disagree about politics and almost all social issues. However, he does not lust for the destruction of the Middle Class, the ailing and elderly. He was very happy about the Republican Congress fighting Obama on the debt ceiling and lauded the GOP for "hard bargaining" which he fervantly supported. What I am trying to say is that we must focus our criticism on the extremists who have carried away the banner of the Republican Party and demonstrate that they are the true domestic enemies to American democracy and prosperity. I think that polemics made by former GOP insiders like former Congressional staffer Mike Lofren http://www.truth-out.org/goodbye-all-reflections-gop-operative-who-left-cult/1314907779 are more helpful in exposing the rottenness of Republican politics and its harm to America. Our problem on the Left is that we have not learned how to respond to the right wing tactics, either because we use their own language in the debate or we paint all conservative political values with a broad brush of condemnation. I fear that our country is very close to all-out civil war in the face of impending economic collapse and extreme alienation of the citiznes from their government. For this, I blame the Republicans for their political opportunism and refusal to compromise. "Hard-bargaining" has consequences. And I also blame the press that does little to bring light upon the issues. We get, instead, extreme positions and celebrities talking nonsense, 24/7. Witness the Hank Williams, Jr. debacle as the singer of the Monday Night Football anthem gets a national voice to condemn political compromise and to compare our President to Hitler. Where was the press to ask GOP candidates for President what they thought of his statement?

Hi Vicki! The press is to blame for everything. They create and control the agenda where there was none. I agree with taking responsibility but it is a little too late for that for multiple millions unless decreasing the population is the goal.

I am absolutely stunned at the discourse and the blatant lack of any constructive discourse and they frigging get away with it. We as a country are in serious trouble here.
